Frank Busch, joined by seasoned mediator Mark LeHocky and
Mehrnaz Boroumand Smith, presented a continuing education program on whether, when, and how early mediation can benefit clients and resolve cases without wasting unnecessary resources. Though the program, which was sponsored by both the ADR and Intellectual Property Sections of the Bar Association of San Francisco, focused on intellectual property disputes, much of its guidance applies more broadly.
